The IOGGear card that wouldn't work in my 8500 was the GIC220U USB 2.0
model. The maker informed me that it requires a G3 processor (my 8500 has
the 604/120). Maybe it would work in an 8500 with a G3, or maybe an IOGear
Usb 1.1 card would work.
