And all my plugins seem to be 6 now. Your "Delete the ones that are out of place" is more on my question. How do I know what is out of place without trial and error?
My questions were more about ... tidy yarding.
If the Mac OS allowed users to assign software pieces to paths as the platform ( definitely non-PC ! ) I came to the Mac from allowed this would be a lot easier. They could be put in one place.
The Plug in folder of the browser would be first choice. But I never know what to do with the Quicktime plugin . class. I don't see any other plugins in the folder. What QT plugins are spread on your drive ? Is it the same one that gets cloned there somehow ?
