Anybody know the best processor upgrades for a 5500/225? I believe the L2

I put 24 of these into machines at my children's school, quick and painless. Not a failure in the batch and all are still going strong four months later.

I've also installed a Sonnet Crescendo G3/400Mhz L2 card in my 5500/225.

I've had practically no problems with it. Worth EVERY penny I paid for it, and then some.

Stick a PCI USB/FireWire card in the motherboard slot, and all sorts of peripherals are now available for your use.

A motherboard swap will be marginally faster, to be sure, but this is, after all, a 400Mhz G3 processor we're talking about.

It really blows away the 603 and 604 processors.
