Perhaps the docs here might help?

- Dan.
Thanks. I found the right manual late last night. Stupid Apple using the same name for four distinct products.... :-(
Anyway, it's no help on any of my questions, really. It implies that the display neck should stay extended whenever you adjust it without needing to lock it in place or anything. It also implies that the S-video should just work, no futzing required. And it _also_ says to install the Apple Displays Software that came on the CD. I've got the latest version of that (1.7.1) and it is definitely NOT compatible with Mac OS 9.2.2.
So I'm still in the same boat, even with the manual. Though I'm sure the User's Manual will come in handy at some point when I'm told to RTFM! ;-)
Peace, Drew
