My Kensington TurboMouse ADB has been giving me problems recently, so I bought a USB trackball to replace it. Well, MacAlly's iballpro is trash compared to the old Kensington model. It doesn't roll as easily, and it seems to "slip" (not always lead to a motion in the cursor/pointer). It's badly designed, I've decided.
Now, I've heard terrible things about the Orbit(z?) trackball from Kensington.
Does someone have a good recommendation for a USB trackball, one that will work with a PCI Mac w/USB card installed?
Why not the USB version of the TurboMouse/ExpertMouse?
I haven't used mine with a PCI card for years but I seem to recall that it was OK with my beigeG3 when I used a USB/Firewire in it.
