Briefly, it has had everything I have wanted up to now. It looks nice (this
is important to me), it is easy to use, it has lots of configurable
preferences, is easy to maintain and back-up and the rules and account
options are many. OE obviously has had intelligent life creating it. Haven't
got this "scareware" thing about MS myself so there is nothing "in
particular" that drags me over prior resistance. Perhaps I better not go on
listing features I like because I think you probably want to know what good
features it might have that other email prgms do not have. And here I have
to be silent because I don't really know.

I do not recommend it over any other email program but when anyone does use
it I find I urge them to at least get to know it before ditching it. But the
truth is that MS are likely to stop support for it on the Mac if they have
not already. There is an equivalent in MS Office... Entourage ... but it is
part of a larger package (and has a horrible name). I prefer to avoid big
packages with hidden connections (NS, MS Office). OE stands alone.

PS. One thing I don't know is what my emails look like when they get there!
I simply imagine, without any evidence at all, that they are as lovely as
they appear just before I send them in OE :)
