I have a question/problem, so I thought I'd turn to you guys and see if you
can help. I have a couple of Macs (Wallstreet and 8600/XLR8 G4/450) that I use
through my Linksys wireless router to connect to a cable modem. Being recently
engaged, and soon to be married, I convinced her to get broadband (cable) in
her house. I have no problems using my laptop at her house (I had the
technician set it up to my Wallstreet) and am now trying to get her PC to connect as
well. I can access the router through a hub, with the PC, but cannot
connect/display any websites. Is there anything special I need to do? I would have
thought that as long as the PC can log onto the router, that's all I would need. A
PC friend said something about Macs and PCs cannot be on the same network
because they use different protocols.

I'm using OS9. Don't laugh as her PC is a Pentium 1, 200 Mhz and was running
95, but has been upgraded to 98. Your advice is welcome, and I'm sure the list
would appreciate this thread to be off list, so e-mail me directly.

Thanx
STeve
