It is not the ID that determines termination, it is the physical connection to the ribbon.

Just a quick question regarding multiple SCSI drives.. I added a second drive (2.1g Seagate Barracuda) From my dead 8600/300. But it doesn't show up on the desktop or even in Apple System Profiler.. I really don't have much experience with all things SCSI.. So any ideas?
Assuming your present drive is set at ID = 0 set the added drive at ID = 1 or 2. That way you will not have to move the termination.
