I have a 7600 with a Sonnet G3 400 card and I am wondering if its the problem
I have turned off virtual memory and only have 2 128 mb sticks of ram in and run OS 9.2.2 .
In the dialogue process ie opening the apple menu the system sometimes freezes, generally when opening something OR if i leave the unit for over 5 minutes it has invariably gone wonky resulting in a hang and needs a power bar reboot it wont reboot from the button on the front of the box�Ive done the disk warrior thing the PRAM thing but its certainly a constant problem with me
I have seen the issue of a mac freezing if left alone for awhile but cannot remember the solution or even if there was one�
any wisdom on this �?
