>Please expand on what "EDO RAM eats 7200 Boards" means

Anecdotal evidence suggests a fundamental incompatibility between the
DRAM contoller in the 7200 and EDO DRAM sticks.

The controller in the later machines (7500/7600, 8500/8600, 9500/9600,
7300, etcetera) is compatible with both EDO and FPM sticks, but these
always access the sticks as if they were FPM.

The 7200 (and the Apple Network Server) can only accept FPM sticks.

The precise mechanism whereby a 7200 mobo is fried by the installation of
EDO sticks is subject to speculation.
