Steve writes, <I have some small (16mb) RAM chips from my 9500 that I've abandoned and would be happy to mail to Yersinia if they are compatible with her 7200. Can anyone tell me if that's so?
I'm not too lazy to look it up, it's just that my 28.8 dialup conection is maddeningly slow...> Thanks so much, but it doesn't look compatible. In spite of what *I* consider my 56K dialup's "maddening" slowness, I went to the site I have bookmarked for when I can buy RAM to check if they might be. The three 7200 compatible RAM modules offered are 32 MB, 64 MB and 128 MB -- no 16 MB option was even mentioned, and I had found that site by specifically looking up what specific RAM modules were the right ones for a 7200 as well as where to order them and how much. The prices themselves really are reasonable; it's just the timing that's bad. ~Yersinia. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
