Greetings: I am trying to install a Plextor PX-40TS CD-ROM reader. So far, the drive is showing up in the System Profiler and it acts like it is working but I can't get any type of CD to mount.
The man who sold me the CD drive had been using it in an 8100--which is why I presumed that it would work in my computer too.
