I have the Apple CD/DVD Driver in my extensions folder right now.

I have an old copy of CD-ROM ToolKit left over from the original NEC CD 
reader that came with this computer. When I tried running this extension, 
I got a message saying I needed an updated version to work with this 
drive.

I'll try running the older Apple driver you mentioned and see what 
happens. I'm guessing I should have it on one of my old system disks.
