Hi....6 blocks....howzabout the same phone line? My iMac Rev.D 333mhz/512mb
RAM with Apple internal 56k modem NEVER connects faster than 33,600. My
Beige G3 DT (G4/500 Sonnet ZIF) 768mb RAM with Diamond Supra Express 56k
(ext.) modem connects consistently at 52,000. This is on the SAME phone
line!! Go figure..........    Mikie
