Hi, people. This is the first time I write to this list. I hope I'm doing fine. I own a PowerPC 9600/300 and I'm thinking of make some upgrades to it. I want to use a FireWire or USB card but some people told me that there might be some problems with PCI slot voltage. I've been told that if I use a card which doesn't work with the same voltage as the machine does it can make the card get burnt. As I don't want any of that to happen I'd appreciate if some of you can help me telling me the voltage that my machine can handle and the one that newer machines and cards do.
