Since the earliest days, Apple machines have had IEC electrical cords.

If the machine is "auto switching", as so many are, then all you do is 
substitute a locally obtained cordset and go!

If the machine is not auto-switching, you do the above, PLUS you manually 
change the 100-125/200-240 switch on the power supply (primarily the 
Beige and similar machines) from the 115 setting to the 230 setting ... 
whichever your local jurisdiction calls for.
