I would go about this like this: 1st see to it that HDs have no conllicting
SCSI IDs and that each SCSI cable connector is snuggly fit. 2nd if you can
boot from OS 8 CD format/initialize a drive and install the OS at least to
keep your upgrade going. Chances are the drives with 9.2.2 were not
installed on your current hardware so they will need to be reinstalled with
it so the proper extensions will load. Try another Apple ROM'd CD drive
preferrably an 8x since some older 4x drives tend to misread CDs. BTW I
find 9.1 faster to boot than 9.2,
