(5) Use or borrow an ethernet and scsi capable machine (eg. a 7600) in between your 6500 and your imac, then of course, you can use crossover ethernet for the final hurdle. You then yank out the HD from the 6500 and put it in the ethernet and scsi capable machine and then ethernet via crossover to the iMac
which really should read
