While checking some connections inside my PM 7500, I noticed that my 9GB
Seagate Jaguar hard drive was hot to the touch. This is the boot disk. A
4GB IBM drive that I also have installed is barely warm.

Does this sound correct, or do I have a cooling problem?

The Seagate Cheetahs are known to run very hot and the Jaguar may well also. ( is it a 10,00 RPM drive ? )
Any kind of extra airflow in this area will prolong the drives life.
