Maybe you are looking too far. If the problems occur during VIDEO events
try a different video card. I'm sure that at least ONE of the ixMicro
cards (Ultimate Rez or Twin Turbo) has conflict issues with the G4
upgrades. Or move the video card to a bottom or top slot.
Borrow a known supported Radeon card and see if it helps. Its what I'm
using with my own G4 800 Sonnet-infested Daystar Genesis.
What other PCI cards do you have ?
You probably don't need to cut off the Resistor: I got a note from
Sonnet in response to my query and Sonnet says that the G4 800 card will
ignore the 512k cache on the motherboard.
