What is the setting on the sound control panel?
Actually this is one of the really buggy things ...
The alert sound is set at max, & the main sound is
turned off... when I try to turn it up, it goes back
to completely off immediatly!?! like it is spring
loaded. Mute is not on. I have Multiscan 15 AV
monitor, have tried it with monitor's speakers
unplugged, & with headphones plugged into the monitor,
same result... When this happened initially, I had
been playing escape velocity, risk & starcraft the
night before with no problem.
