A major priority here should also be more RAM - for more than that the CPU
is slow and needs all the help it can get. Get at least 256 for running 9.1
(but better even more...).

I have a "MacSurfer USB 2-Port card" which boasts the "OPTi Firelink USB
chip used in the new iMacs" (But I have had it for years so take "new imacs"
with a grain of salt...) and I have run just one thing on it, the marvellous
white Apple Pro mouse. Sorry, this is the only info I have on it, from the
box...
