The plastic stiffens with age and breaks easily. Also they take quite a bit of side force to get them past the card far enough to get it out. A real waste of time. Agreed. I just borke one of the plastic slot frames pulling the video card today. But, this 9500 has another XLR8 G3z mini-CPU card with switches. This one went up to 337Mhz
but became a little squirrely doing it.
So I settled on 317Mhz. With OS 9.0.4 it's a pretty spiffy Mac Tower.
It's on the desk in the bedroom, and I can sell the FrankenMac.
Difference between native 45Mhz. bus speed and 50.
