Corrupted directory whose tabs have lost their links to the files. You may
still recover documents unless the files were overwritten by subsequent
reinstallation of the OS or applications. With Norton I set Filesaver to
update directory before each shutdown and keep copies of important
documents in a spare drive or burn to CD.
