Hmmm, convert to PC. Well, under the best of circumstances, it is a
bit of a kludge. Different font sets, formatting commands, etc.

If you have current Mac and PC versions of the same program (Appleworks,
Word, and such) you can have reasonably good results. For me, I find
it about as easy to compose plain text files (for word processing
type stuff) and put them on Zip disks (PC formatted) with the Mac.

Then import the files to your "favorite" PC application and format.

Database and spreadsheet files are another challenge. You can save
the files as .dbf or .dif or comma delineated format, write to the
Zip disk and then move to the PC to import. Still, formatting is
usually needed.

If you are lucky and have Office on the Mac and PC, you can "usually"
move the files to the PC and open. Still, I find oddities with the
imported data, paricularly word document formatting and spreadsheet
formulas and relationships.

Pictures are the least troublesome. A .jpg seems to move easily,
just remember to keep the .jpg extension to be safe!

I know MacLinks Plus does pretty good for moving stuff INTO a Mac,
but I have no experience with using it to move stuff the other way.

It is always a challenge!
