OK, but what about USB 2.0?? I have an 8600 .. and not to pile more into 
the case.. but what about getting USB 2.0 working with an IDE drive 
external??

Anyone have that working ok?

 Don't quote me on this. But I believe to take advantage of 2.0 speeds 
you have to run Panther on a USB native machine.. Seems to me that has 
been talked about before. I know that all 3 of my Belkin USB 2.0 cards 
perform like 1.1 cards in my G3/300's and 8600/300. The G's are running 
10.2, the 8600 as stripped down 9.1 system.
