Hmmm, 2 years ago I had never been on any computer before in my life and the
the friend (now EX-friend) who sold me his old computer took advantage of
that. When I said, "something had to be disconnected from the onboard
video", I was repeating what he had told me (when will I ever learn?). Sooo,
even though I don't yet know the difference between a DIMM & a SIMM,
more/less a VRAM DIMM, it might be worth opening up this beast to see what's
really been done to it? I don't know how usable for me, but it would be fun
to have 3 screens working! I've got enough monitors lying around!
Could the fact that someone put an 8500 MOBO in it, (at least I assume
that, since ASP says it's an 8500), have anything to do with the onboard
video not working?

In any case, thanks for the info. Now, if I can only figure out what I'm
looking at when I open this up! Care to walk me through this, doctor? ;^)

Ps-I have a 7100/66 I don't really use. Anything off that I could use to get
the 7500/8500's on board video to work?
