I use DSL.

Keep checking on the DSL, when I first checked I couldn't get it but later I could. It wasn't that they didn't cover my city but that I was too far away. I didn't move closer but they did increase their range..

Why is cable PC only? Do they only support a USB connection? Even if they do I believe there is at least one router out there that can connect via USB to the modem. You could use that to connect your Mac.
