Catching this thread kinda late... Having the same kind of issue with my 8600/300.. When booted the screen looks like I'm looking at it through a screendoor, with the same kind of black cross hatching displayed over the monitor... But I'm not sure which chip is the vram on the board?? Can anyone tell me which one this is?
