An answer, and a question:
I seem to have lost mine, and need it. I was just looking and OtherWorld www.macsales.com
has one for $35, but says it needs G3 (?).
IS there really a G3 only installer? I need it to install on a 8500/G3 but it has no working system at the moment.
I bought it for my 6500 way back when, I'm pretty sure it was before I got my G3 upgrade for the 6500.

Hello all. I am wanting to find an OS 9.0 disk so I can upgrade my old 6500. Currently, it is running OS 7.5.5. How much would an OS 9.0 disk cost these days? I have relatively no money at the moment (hopefully I will in about a month), but it is something I am going to need soon. I am not talking about an OS 9 system restore disk that came with iMacs and iBooks, I am talking about the retail version with the red/orange 9 on it. Thanks for any suggestions that anyone has!
