Is that the grey colored CD ?
I also have an iMac OS 9.1 Install CD (grey) I have been able to
install and OS in:

Umax C500, PTPro's, 5500, 62/3xx's, 64/6500, 7300, 9600, beige G3's.
Basically anything I've ever tried it in. Most of the Mac specific
install CD's won't work in all machines but a select few will.
