The 4GB and 9GB Seagate Barracuda drives were very reliable. I
would check, however, to see if you'll have enough cooling in your
application.
www.seagate.com will have all of the information, including a copy
of the manual, which will tell you what kind of air flow is required.

I have a 9 Gig Seagate running in the top bay of a 7500 same as the
7600 case. Has not overheated yet.
