The best upgrade for a 7600 is a complete 8500 motherboard and video connector panel set. I've done this to one machine, and it is nice. (An 8600 motherboard and video connector panel set fits a 7300 case).
unless you want to play mp3s on an ata disk on it - and discovers that the 8500 motherboard starts cuttin up the sound, studdering.
