Using the run feature in windows 7 is the same as it is in Vista. You either type what you want in the box above the start button, or press the keys to bring up the run box. Windows in general uses the Win-r keys (press the windows key and tap "r" key) to bring up a run box to type your command in. This displays the same Run box as the older windows where you click start and run. ... Hi Larry: I had people over to watch the game great win!!! Unfortunately, no one knew how to use my new Win 7 machine so I am back to my own devices and winging it without much success. For instance: Microsoft tells me to go to Start and “open” and then “run”. I can’t find them!!! Google isn’t leading me anywhere at all. If you would like to help, leave me your phone number and best time to call or use mine: 485-8838. Tomorrow the normalcy begins again and I have appts to keep so I’ll be in and out. Thanks, Larry Marion PS I’m writing this on my Vista laptop which I am glad to have!!! I am so sorry, I'm not going to be able to be at the cafe tonight. I hadn't written earlier thinking I would be there but went to a party forgetting it's Monday. Here's hoping everyone is as absent minded as me tonight.
