I am running Win98SE and have been religiously installing updates when ever
they first appear. I also recently installed IE6.0 beta, but am not sure if
this was happening before or since the install. Either way, I keep getting
bugged by Windows Update that I critically need to install Security Update
2, November 29, 1999 (I'm sure I had long since done so, but whatever....).
Problem is, it will download, but always fails to install. Any one else run
into this? It is a minor problem, but I would still like to get rid of this
apparently bogus update message, but still receive any others.....
