I copied this from my Windows page.....give it a shot:
Getting errors when you try to go to Microsoft's Windows Update
page?......Here's a quick fix that often solves this nagging problem. Click
on your Start button and select "run".....In this box, type regsvr32
wupdinfo.dll (don't miss the space between the 2 and the w) and hit OK.
Sometimes it's just that simple!

I have this popping up all time. When I try to actually connect to the
notifications, it won't connect anyway, I think because I have some type
of script disabled. So if it's not a necessary thing, I know how to go
to files and remove them, but what is meant by "disable it in the update
notification?" How do I do that? Is that something I have a choice to
do when the reminder thing pops up? If so, I will look the next time it
appears. If not, where is the disabling option?

Could you tell me how to do that? Will I still be unable to connect
because of some configuration that I seem to have?
