Sure is. I make drive image copies of my PC after all updates and backups
are done. Using this method, I have a perfectly working PC on Sunday. Any
other downloads or changes during the week will only affect the most recent
image. If something fails, I just reinstall the last image copy and I'm back
in business. Incremental daily backups are mirrored on my other PCs.
