Peter....is this person SENDING or REPLYING? Outlook will reply to mail in
whatever format it is received (unless you change it manually each time you
reply)....if it is SENDING in HTML, I would try running detect and repair
from the help menu

I have a friend who is using Outlook 2000 to send plain text email to a few
lists. However their settings are set to send in plain text but it will
only send in html. He has it on his laptop as well but it works
there. Running 98 on both machines with 256 mb ram each and both machines
are less than a year old too. Also no security patches on Outlook
either. Any idea's?
