Have a Sony Mavica 81.
Flexibility is great. Bmp's, Jpgs, standard or fine quality.
Mpeg recording with sound.
Floppy recording media.
Battery life is good.
Backlit 2.5 screen.

Needs a see through view finder. If recording in sunlight, may be difficult to see the
screen.
Needs more true zoom. Most cameras state zoom that includes wide angle ratios. IE:
10x zoom is
actually 5x zoom. ..
must place zoom to mid point to equal actual distance to subject. Pre midpoint is
actually wide
angle and post midpoint is actual zoom. Then there's digital zoom .... which is
useless most of the
time. I have a movie cam that is a 360 digital zoom. They say it is a 20x mechanical
zoom then
digital zoom to 360x. Actually it is a 10x wide-to-zero and zero to 10x telephoto
zoom. The digital
is useless to me due to the deterioration of quality.
