Are you building a webpage that you want the image to be centered. 
(Using Netscape Composer?). If so, create a single cell table and right
click to set the cell and table options.  There is a center option for
both the table and the cell.  This way, you will keep the sizing
appropriated for the viewers screen (use the percent option for
sizing).  If this is not what you are trying to do, then sorry.
