The latest RELEASE is 5.5 (part of IE5.5) but I assume there
is version 6 along with the current beta release of IE 6.
Not sure what you mean by "split".
You can set up OE with a hotmail account, it's in the toolbar
under 'tools' then 'new account sign up'. At HM's site
they'll tell you what to put for server incoming and outgoing
if OE won't do it automatically, I can't recall. I canceled
with HM a long time ago, VERY VERY buggy, way to many
problems with OE plus they create a completely different
email folder for OE and they put a big annoying banner at the
bottom of YOUR OE email program, and it never loads and
causes crashes, etc. Yahoo is much better. You can set it
up with OE to act exactly as any of your current email
addresses work, and no banner.
