Hi, List.
Every time I try to dial up my ISP I get a message box stating the "computer
that I am trying to connect with is not answering". I have to repeatedly
re-try 3 or more times before it finally connects. Also occasionally I get
another message stating that the dial-up connection "does not recognize my
computer" or similar type wording.

I've contacted my ISP and they say that everything checks out on their end.
What could be wrong? I haven't installed anything new or made any changes
recently. My dialup connection properties seem to be in order. My ISP said
it might be my telephone line connection. I also have a fax on the same
line and it always seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA
