marvin i have the original game and i am running win 2000 also. go get
direct x 8 from microsoft and install it. that should take care of most of
your problems. sometimes you have a video or sound card driver that is put
out by the individual comany but not yet certified by microsoft and you will
get that error or sometimes a driver is overwritten.
