Thomas,
I'm not sure where you are coming from..DSL works over existing phone lines,
with a filter installed at each phone hand set to prohibit the DSL signal
from interfering with voice calls.
My DSL got disconnected as soon as I switch my local phone carrier. I had to
contact Verizon to install one of there lines for any DSL provider to use. I
found no DSL provider that would contract with anyone but Verizon.
