A friend has a new AMD TBird 1.4GHz system running WinME,
approx 2-mos.
The system started having a disconnect problem after a couple days.
The Dealer told her that the Modem was bad and she dropped off
the unit.
Dealer called her in a few days and told her it was
all taken care of.
She brought the system home and it worked fine for a few days, now
she's having a similar/same type problem as listed below. . .
Can someone please shed some light on this problem. . .
Thank you,

This is what happens, I will get disconnected, it might be 15 minutes or it
could be 10-14 hours. but when I get disconnected a box comes up and says
something like = you have been disconnected- reconnect, I click reconnect
and the Blue Screen of death comes up.. File name:VCOMM (05)+0000053A ERROR:
OE:0028:COZA903A
I hit the space bar and it goes away.
then I go to reconnect again the Error box comes up.= Error: 633 the modem
isn't setup correctly to work with dial-up networking..
I have to restart my computer then I can get connected with no problem and
it works great till I get disconnected again and you never know when that
will be.
