In the wee hour of 05:04 PM 7/23/01 -0700, Ed bequeathed such tales as these:
>Well folks, all this hype about WinXP being so great, still needs
>a new set of BRAINS so it will be as smart as WinMe and 98.
>Am I interested in upgrading to WindowsXP Professional, you ask?
>Not until there's an upgrade that will work and not throw all this
>kind of garbage at us about having to go to the trouble of doing
>all the look-up for upgrades. WindowsMe will do me just fine.
>I have upgraded to every version of Windows, and have never

That's not so bad Ed, try it with embedded scsi, actually MS is
recommending that users of Me wipe their system clean before applying the
upgrade and that users of 2000 wait until the next installment of windows
in 2002 or is it 2003? Plus the WPA is turning into a sham too. XP, not
for me either, unless the purchase price includes a computer then I might
consider it but new carpeting would probably be more useful.
