As usual I need some of your expert advice. I have an older computer that
I would like to add ram to. It is an intel 166mhz mmx processor with a Pine
586 Mb w/triton Edo. The part number for the motherboard is PT-7502-2
430vx system board. From the manual I have it shows 4 slots (2 banks)
72-pin Simm slots for fast page or EDO DRam and also has 2 168-pin Dimm
sockets for EDo or SDram modules. Maximum memory cannot exceed 128 MB in
any combination according to the manual. As far as I can tell from the
manual the CPU Input Clock speed is 66MHz. I would like to know if I could
use PC-100 or PC-133 ram or do I have to use PC-66 ram. Will different
types of ram harm the computer. The manual suggests different MB
combinations to use with SIMMs and DIMMs but not exactally which type can
be used.I would like to end up with 128MB ram when finished.I would
