Nope, not unless you access the internet by e-mail only. As soon as you use
on-line access to a web site the web server has to deliver the web page to
your browser, including all the graphic images and multimedia content. If
you don't have the plug-ins or have graphics turned off or other multimedia
items turned off, they still must be transmitted. The only difference is
that they are not loaded by the browser.
