Clint,
have you run msconfig to see what actually loading at startup or
ctrl+alt+del to see what actually is running at the time? Sounds like some
app is sticking it to you. Also, a good rule of thumb (regardless of what
the they's of the world say) is to give a minimum swap size of 500mb or so
and let Windows manage above that. I've tried to set it to a fixed ammt and
regardless of how big that was, my machine eventually froze up requiring a
hard reboot.
