Sorry, I'm using Win98 but have the power save mode off. Moving the mouse or hitting keys doesn't do anything. It actually shuts off most often when I go to a new web page but sometimes when I'm typing an email. So far I've always been connected to the internet when it does it and always am actually working on the machine. Thanks, Cindy

I just sounds like it's doing the normal thing and going into power save mode, which is 15 min by default in win98.
